If a notification doesn't appear, check the steps below, depending on if you have a Windows or Mac computer, to find the files on your GoPro camera. On Windows: If your GoPro's content doesn't automatically appear when you power your camera on, go to the Start Menu and select My Computer (or This PC ). Enable Wifi ('app' or 'phone+tablet' mode) on your GoPro Hero. Connect your GoPro using Wifi to your Mac. The default GoPro Wifi password is 'goprohero'. Connection problems If the GoPro cannot be controlled with the app or the preview does not work then completely power off the GoPro by removing both the USB cable and the battery.

What's the issue?

GoPro camera is no longer being recognized under My Devices on GoPro App for Desktop. Currently, using a micro SD card adapter will display a mass storage device on the Desktop; however, other applications(including Image Capture) still won't recognize the camera.
Or if the camera is recognized under My Devices, but there are 'No Files to Import' appears and the 'Space Used' bar is clearly showing some data inside the micro SD card.
How to fix it?Method 1Sometimes the Mac would need a USB port reset to reactive several hardware settings.
- Choose Apple menu > Shut Down.
- Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Shift + Control + Option + Power Button.
- Hold the button combination for about 5 seconds and release them all at the same time.
- Turn on your Mac.
After resetting your computer’s USB ports, please verify if you are able to connect the GoPro via
USB cable or microSD card adapter and have GoPro App for Desktop recognize it under My Devices.
Method 2Please make sure NOT to change the folder names and structure on the SD card. For example, do NOT rename the 'DCIM' folder.

Download the GoPro Fusion Studio AppCan't Connect Gopro To App
Step 1: Go to the Fusion Studio product page on the GoPro website. Scroll down to the GoPro Fusion Studio App section.
Step 2: Click the 'Download Mac' button
Step 3: The download should start for you automatically
Step 4: When the download is complete it should open a new Finder window for you with the installer package.
*If the Finder window did not open for you automatically then click the GoPro Fusion Studio App download in your downloads browser or locate the file in your Downloads folder and double-click on it to extract the download.
Step 5: Open the GoPro Fusion Studio App Installer by double clicking on the Fusion Studio .DMG file.
Step 6: Go through the GoPro Fusion Studio App Installer process, entering your password and confirming “Agree” to the software license agreement as needed.
Step 7: Once the install is complete, the installer will close, and you can find the new GoPro Fusion Studio App application under the “Applications” folder.
