It would be fabulous if there were a Confluence desktop app! It is far easier to create and manage content in a native app than it is to do the same things in a browser that has to load a. For people who use Confluence with their teams, this is not a useful app. Though the desktop browser experience of Confluence is buggy and the mobile browser is poor, this app omits almost everything useful about Confluence: - it does not update pages in the app when server pages are edited. Launch the App Store; Search for the Microsoft Remote Desktop; Click on Microsoft Remote Desktop; Enter your credentials for your Apple account; Launch Microsoft Remote Desktop; Click on New in the upper left; Choose Add gateway from the Gateway drop down menu (pictured below) (Click image to enlarge) Click on the Plus sign to add a gateway.

Use Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac to connect to a remote PC or virtual apps and desktops made available by your admin. With Microsoft Remote Desktop, you can be productive no matter where you are. GET STARTED Configure your PC for remote access using the information at https://aka.ms/rdsetup. Select the “COE” or specific image from the Desktops tab or selected Favorites tab. “Desktop Viewer” will begin launching a session. You may also have virtualized applications under the Apps tab. Ensure your data is saved to U: or remote drive and select “Sign out” from start menu after completing session. In Remote Desktop Connection, type the name of the PC you want to connect to (from Step 1), and then select Connect. On your Windows, Android, or iOS device: Open the Remote Desktop app (available for free from Microsoft Store, Google Play, and the Mac App Store), and add the name of the PC that you want to connect to (from Step 1). Select the remote PC name that you added, and then wait for the connection to complete. I've installed the companion app on my Mac. I'm using Chrome. The app shows up in my toolbar at the top of my screen. When I go to an Excel spreadsheet and click 'Edit File' it takes me to the Preview screen of the spreadsheet with no options at the top for Editing In.or any other of the Compan.

  1. Set up the PC you want to connect to so it allows remote connections:
    • On the device you want to connect to, select Start > Settings > System> Remote Desktop, and turn on Enable Remote Desktop.
    • Make note of the name of this PC under How to connect to this PC. You'll need this later.
  2. Use Remote Desktop to connect to the PC you set up:
    • On your local Windows 10 PC: In the search box on the taskbar, type Remote Desktop Connection, and then select Remote Desktop Connection. In Remote Desktop Connection, type the name of the PC you want to connect to (from Step 1), and then select Connect.
    • On your Windows, Android, or iOS device: Open the Remote Desktop app (available for free from Microsoft Store, Google Play, and the Mac App Store), and add the name of the PC that you want to connect to (from Step 1). Select the remote PC name that you added, and then wait for the connection to complete.

Using the Webex Desktop App

When you click on the Join link, your internet browser will bring you to the Webex Room.

  1. Click on the Webex link that was sent to you.
  2. Webex will check to see if you have the Desktop App installed.
    1. If you have it installed, the application will open and you will be brought to your session.
    2. If you do not have it installed, follow this guide to download and install the application.

Using the Desktop App to act as Moderator of a phone conference

If you are participating in a phone-only Webex session, you may log into the session using the Desktop App to have the full suite of Host controls while using your phone for audio transmission.

If you created the session:

  1. Open the Webex Desktop Application and find your session in the Upcoming Meetings below
  2. In your video preview window, click on the audio options menu in the center of the window. This will open up your connection options.
  3. Choose Call in.
  4. Then click the green button to Start the session.

If you did not create the session:

  1. If you did not create the session, ask the creator to share the Join link and Host Key with you.
  2. Open the Webex Desktop Application and find your session in the Upcoming Meetings below
  3. In your video preview window, click on the audio options menu in the center of the window. This will open up your connection options.
  4. Choose Call in.
  5. Then click the green button to Join the session.
  6. Click on the Participant menu in the top toolbar. Choose the option Reclaim Host Role
  7. Enter the Host Key that was shared with you by the creator of the Event.
  8. You now have access to the full suite of Host controls.
